P&C

P&C

WHAT IS THE PARENTS AND CITIZENS ASSOCIATION?

The P&C is a group of volunteers working together to make a positive contribution to your school.  The P&C helps parents and students by;

·Giving parents the opportunity to learn about school policies and programs as our Principal , Mr Biemmi attends all meetings.

·Bringing parents together to share information, ideas and views.

·Assisting the school to build positive attitudes to students and their families.

·Raising funds and providing additional resources, amenities and events for the benefit of students.

·Running the Uniform Shop and Canteen.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE P&C?

P&C membership is open to all parents and caregivers of students attending the school and to citizens over the age of eighteen who are interested in the work of the Association. Membership is only $1 per person per year and can be paid prior to any P&C meeting.  Being a member means you will be notified by email fo all our upcoming events as well as receiving the minutes of all of our meetings. It also gives you the right to vote at P&C meetings. You will get to meet other parents, contribute ideas, vote on proposals and keep up to date with everything going on around the school. You might even enjoy it!

Our goals for this year are to expand on the work of previous P&C, with particular focus on continuing the running of the Uniform Shop, establishing a scaled down Canteen service and working with the school administration in regards to the future rebuilding of the Primary School.
