VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS:

“Secondary Assistance” (or Educational Program Allowance) for students in Years 7-10 is available by application through the school office. Only holders of a current Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card; Centrelink Family Health Care Card (Family only NOT child’s), Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card (NOT TPI State Conc/Health Pension) may apply. For those eligible, an Educational Program Allowance payment of $235 is paid direct to the School and a Clothing Allowance of $115 can be mailed to the parent. The closing date for EPA applications is Friday 8 April 2016. Abstudy is also available for secondary students through Centrelink. An additional Abstudy Fees Allowance Supplement can be claimed by completing a form available from the School Registrar.

 

Charges apply to the provision of optional activities that are part of the school program and are NOT covered by the “contributions”. If payment is not received then the student cannot participate in the activity. The School will provide an alternate educational activity for your child. The school Voluntary Contributions and Charges are ratified by the School Council.

 

CLASS MONEY COLLECTIONS
Money for excursions, sporting carnivals, etc. should be placed in a sealed envelope with your child’s name, class, event, and the amount enclosed. This envelope should be handed to the class teacher (form teacher) first thing in the morning.
